Shot on location in

La Perouse, NSW.

Working in the heat of the day can be a real challenge, and as you can see here we were able to construct some interesting scenes away from the prying eyes. It is particularly hard when there is just sand and water everywhere and people around. Wanted it to look different, poor girl only had an hour to spare, time flys by when you are having fun. The light source was 11 am sunlight, adding additional strobe light to compensate would be fake. Some bounced light added. If this was a commercial shoot, Id have a few assists and have my 6×8 scrim to diffuse the lighting more. When its windy and time is of the essence environmental pix can still be hard.
